“Wrap It with Love! Date Knit Project”

An art project set in Date City, Fukushima Prefecture, a region known for knitwear production.

This project combines hand knitting and machine knitting by using fabric and yarn scraps discarded by factories, as well as leftover yarn from households, unfinished motif pieces, and moth-damaged sweaters. These materials will be repurposed to create knitted coverings for public objects.
